HISTORY OF MCGRAW

 

Our success didn't happen overnight.

 

It was built on a foundation laid by generations past and present. Locally owned and locally managed since 1938, our 10 offices and more than 550 Associates and staff have made McGraw Realtors the largest and fastest growing residential real estate company in Tulsa and Northeastern Oklahoma.
1938Dan Davisson and Kenneth Crouch form Crouch Davisson.
1946Lee Mullhall, a local builder joins the firm of Crouch Davisson as partner. This premier organization held the title of top residential firm in Tulsa for the next 30 years.
1961Joe McGraw joins sales staff of Crouch Davisson Mulhall in May. He sells his first house at 37th & Lewis.
1965Joe McGraw, Carol VanSchoyck and Peyton Breckenbridge form new real estate firm with offices downtown.
1975Bob Traband and Bill Stewart (TKT) partner with Crouch Davisson Mulhall to create commercial real estate division.
1975Rodger Erker and Hank Grimmer join McGraw Breckenridge.
1976Name changed to Crouch Davisson Stewart.
1986Crouch Davisson Stewart merges with McGraw Breckenridge and changes name to McGraw Davisson Stewart in offices on Harvard - now at 4612 S. Harvard.
198881st & Sheridan office opens to facilitate new construction boom emerging in South Tulsa.
1995Jenks office opens as Creek Nation Turnpike enhances growth west of Arkansas River.
1999Owasso offices open to service burgeoning residential market.
2000Grand Lake office opens in Langley to handle residential boom at this lake.
2001Coweta and Claremore offices created as market area expands beyond Tulsa.
2001Company investor John Woolman, a successful builder/developer, comes to McGraw as President and Joe McGraw remains an active member of executive management as Chairman
